Living Independently Forever

The LIFE Track, Swimming and Tennis teams packed onto a fancy coach bus on the afternoon of June 3, eager to head to the annual Summer Games in Boston.

Each team, with the aid of their terrific coaches, felt great about their chances going in, as they put in the time in effort in the days and weeks leading up to the Games.

And the LIFE teams did not disappoint: The track team had a medal count of 10 gold, nine silver and five bronze; the tennis team had three gold, two silver and one bronze; and the swimming team had eight gold, three silver and one bronze. The coaches explained that everyone had a great time, truly soaking in another great weekend.

A big thanks to Kim Cassim, Tara Fuller and Susanne Norman for all their hard work over the weekend. There’s a lot that goes into ensuring that the weekend goes smoothly; their combined efforts are greatly appreciated. A few families of LIFE residents showed up as well, making sure the community was visible and represented in front of a great crowd.
