Were pleased to announce another series of Social Skills workshops, known as R.I.S.E. (Resiliency, Independence and Social Engagement). 

❄️ Winter sessions begin the week of February 13, 2022 and runs for 12 weeks. 
 
MAX 8️⃣ participants. 
Must commit to attending all 8️⃣ sessions. 

HYBRID SESSIONS in-person (pending current COVID situation) or Zoom. 
 
TARGET SKILLS are developed with the members of the group and may include:
* Relationships 
* Conversation skills
* Community safety skills
* How to advocate for yourself 
* Making good friends and doing things together 
* Telling someone if they hurt your feelings 
* Communication skills at work
* Compromising when you disagree

What is the LIFE Community?

LIFE is a unique non profit program that has served adults with autism, learning and intellectual disabilities for more than 25 years. We offer a flexible range of options within and outside of our condominium communities and group homes located in Southeast Massachusetts on Cape Cod and in Plymouth. Residents have joined from over 20 states and several countries.

LIFE offers a full menu of services to enable residents to achieve their maximum capabilities within a nurturing and caring environment. Services include supports and resources in the areas of vocation/employment, education, social/community involvement and daily living skills.

It is the LIFE goal that participants will continue to progress toward greater independence.

Our staff provides 24/7 coverage and immediate response capability for any medical or other emergency situation. Our flexibility enables us to design services to meet the specific need of your family member. We welcome your inquiries about LIFE.
