Diane Enochs, Executive Director

Diane joined the LIFE community as the Executive Director in October of 2010.

She began her career in the field of disabilities in the Warren Public Schools as the Director of Special Education, and then moved to Pennsylvania and accepted the position of Director of Programs For Exceptional People.

Diane was engaged in the State Departments of Pennsylvania and Massachusetts serving people with disabilities for several years, and directly before joining LIFE, served as Regional Director and Assistant Commissioner for the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services. She has a published feature article in the Journal of Emergency Management, “Emergency Planning and People With Disabilities” and has lectured at the HCBS Waiver Conference in Boston and the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Diane holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, and a Master’s degree from the University of Connecticut. She also completed a Program for Senior Executives at Harvard University. She is affiliated with the American Association on Intellectual Disabilities, the National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disability Services, and the International Educational Consultants Association.
