Recognition Breakfast Awards
LIFE Clients and the staff who support them were presented with awards at the recent Recognition Breakfast held by the Cape & Islands Advisory Board of the State Department of Developmental Services (DDS) on April 8.
We congratulate Elizabeth (Lizzy) White and Ashley Mendoza from LIFE on receiving this award.
Since coming to LIFE five months ago, Ashley has made great strides toward further independence: Ashley has learned to manage her finances by budgeting and shopping wisely; and has also learned to do her banking independently.
Ashley has improved her culinary skills and prepares meals for herself and her housemates on a regular basis.
Ashley has excelled to the point that she will soon be moving onto a more independent living arrangement. Ashley was assisted in all of this by her staff, Lizzy White.
