Join us at our Fall Open House to learn about the unique Living Independently Forever® (LIFE) community with residential and community services, employment programs, our active social LIFE and healthy LIFEstyle programs.

We invite you to our beautiful Cape Cod community where you will meet LIFE’s management team and explore which LIFE program best meets your family needs. You’ll have the opportunity to meet LIFE individuals too. Whether you are interested in residential and community programs, or employment for adults 18 years or older with disabilities, the LIFE Open House will help you gather the information you need to plan for the future.

  • Meet Rachelle Jonas, Director of Admissions and Director of Supported Independent Living – Mashpee, who will provide an overview of the LIFE program and our active, growing community.
  • Learn about LIFE residential programs, including Supported Independent Living communities, Group Home community living, and Shared Living opportunities to discover which program best meets the needs of your family member.
  • Meet LIFE CEO, Cheryl Evans, to learn about our organization, leadership, and community initiatives focused on empowering people to thrive independently.
  • Learn about LIFE’s personalized Supported Employment Services for adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, and learning disabilities, Community-based Day Services (CBDS) which match individuals’ interests to volunteer opportunities and jobs, and the opening of our new expanded CBDS office in Hyannis.
  • Explore Individual Supports one-to-one and group services for individuals living locally with family or on their own.
  • Discover the healthy LIFEstyles programs, including personalized 1:1 fitness programs, wellness initiatives, the Lovin’ LIFE 5K run/walk (open to the greater community), and our award-winning Special Olympics programs. (Fun fact: LIFE has the largest Special Olympics team in the state and competes in national Special Olympics games.)

Bring your questions and family members to meet LIFE Directors and LIFE individuals as you explore which program is the best fit for your family member. Light refreshments will be served. We look forward to welcoming you.
