Our Locations
Incorporated in 1992, LIFE opened a first-of-its-kind Supported Independent Living Program to ten adults with intellectual disabilities and autism in Hyannis, Massachusetts in 1993. By 1996, the Hyannis location had more than doubled in physical size.
In 2016, a third Supported Independent Living (SIL) site was opened in Plymouth, and a new Group Home was established in Centerville in 2018.
In addition to our core offerings of Supported Independent Living and Group Homes, LIFE’s services have expanded over the years to include Individual Supports, Employment Supports, and Community Based Day Supports (CBDS), and Shared Living.
Over the last 30 years of growth and change, one thing has remained constant: LIFE’s focus on and commitment to the individuals we serve.
The Hyannis SIL condo community is a located on a quiet street with access to an on-site gym, community room and kitchen, as well as a popular outdoor pavilion where numerous parties and gatherings take place.
Mashpee SIL is a private condo neighborhood in walking distance to a supermarket, restaurants, movies and shopping, as well as nearby beaches and access to transportation.
