For more than 25 years, LIFE has thrived by helping individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism live happy, independent lives. LIFE’s professional direct care staff provide support and social opportunities, our clinical team enhances mental and physical wellbeing, our fitness staff promotes good physical health and nutrition, and our employment team is dedicated to finding the right job for each person.

But we can only do this with your help. Please consider donating to LIFE, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Special Olympics Volunteer

We are always looking for volunteer coaches for our year-round Special Olympics program. Sports include soccer, basketball, bowling, track & field, tennis, swimming, golf and softball. We are also looking for volunteers to transport our athletes to practices and tournaments. Please contact Ian Saarmann, LIFE’s Fitness Director, at [email protected] to volunteer or donate to LIFE’s Special Olympics program.

Donate to Annual Gala

LIFE’s annual Family Conference and Gala is a wonderful annual tradition that brings all of our families together and is our largest fundraiser. Past galas have raised money for essential items that enhance the lives of the people we serve, including new vehicles to take people to jobs, doctor’s appointments, and fun things to do; new fitness equipment; new Electronic Healthcare Record technology; and more. Please consider contributing to the Family Conference and Gala! Whether you wish to help underwrite the expense of the event or contribute items to the auction, we welcome your help in any form.

Suggestions for donations to the Gala Auction include: artwork, weekend getaways, sporting/theatre/show tickets, generic gift cards, cruises, vacation homes, and restaurant gift cards, etc. Items that can be combined to make a package would be welcome, such as: Hotel gift cards with local restaurants, museums, and transportation would make a very nice weekend package! Your help would also be welcome in soliciting local businesses for donations to LIFE. Donors will be listed as a sponsor in our morning program, and the Gala program and displays. Our generous contributors will also be listed on the LIFE website, and the LIFE Facebook page.
